Church Doesn't Need to be Boring
Families and kids are a huge piece of parish life at Christ Church. With an active Sunday morning program for kids of all ages and family social events throughout the year, Christ Church has played a big role for generations of families in and around Stouffville.
Our team of volunteers work hard to create a fun, meaningful environment for kids of all ages. Our Church School and Senior Youth Group is a place where our young people can belong, have a great time and learn to follow Jesus along with other youth under the supervision of caring adult leaders.
Nursery (ages 4 and younger)
Children are always welcome to join Mom and Dad in worship at Christ Church but if your little one prefers playing to praying, we have a well-equipped nursery with childcare attendants. The nursery is open for our Sunday Choral service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
If you’re planning to bring your little one to the Sunday nursery for the first time, please give the office a call at (905) 640-1461 on the Friday morning before and let us know so that we can have everything ready when you arrive.
Church School (Grades JK – 6)
Our Sunday morning Church School begins at 10:00 am and focuses on God’s love, the presence of Christ and who we are as the people of God. This ministry is growing and thriving while also having lots of fun every Sunday!
The children and youth get together in age-compatible groups and enjoy learning about God’s love through stories, music, videos and hands-on crafts and activities. Also, the kids have an opportunity to participate in our main Sunday services on special event days throughout the year such as All-Ages Worship Service, Palm Sunday, Easter, Christmas pageant, our special Christingle services on Christmas Eve and more.
Our goal is to provide a fun and interactive program tailored for kids no matter what age and grade to help them know Jesus and grow spiritually as they build meaningful relationships with other children and adults.
